NOUVEAUX REGARDS SUR LA VILLE

VACANCES À ARGENTEUIL

Students of the Grade 12 CAP (Professional Diploma) Sales class at Cognacq-Jay High School in Argenteuil (95) with Manon Boyer

How can staging change our perception of a place? Can imagery transform our understanding of a territory? Located in the outer suburbs and experiencing rapid urban expansion, Argenteuil doesn't quite fit the typical image of a tourist destination. However, by studying its history and mapping its iconic locations, we become aware of its potential.

With humor, we adopt the conventions of tourist imagery, seeking to highlight our environment through colors, poses, and various framings. By playing the role of tourists in our own city, we guide you through its must-see attractions.

Rich in a unique history, Argenteuil will charm you with its vast spaces and local products such as asparagus, figs, or kebabs.

The home of Claude Monet, a renowned haunt for Impressionist painters, will be your starting point. You'll then enjoy wandering through the bustling streets of this former medieval town and conclude your excursion atop the city's heights, offering a breathtaking panorama. Enjoy your stay in Argenteuil!
